Free cleaning quote template

What a client-ready quote looks like: your name on top, one price, the scope in plain words, a way to say yes. Print it and fill it in, or send it from your phone as a link with an Accept button.

What goes on a cleaning estimate template?

A cleaning estimate template lists the client, address, scope, frequency, price, what is included and excluded, how long the price is valid, and your contact details. Once those are filled in, it is a quote the client can say yes to.

What is on it, and why

  • Your name, phone, and one line of trust. Licensed and insured, years in business, whatever is true. It goes at the top because that is what a client checks first.
  • The client's name and the job in their words. “Standard clean, 3 bed / 2 bath” is the scope. If the house turns out to be bigger, the scope is what you point to.
  • Cleaners and rough hours. Not a promise of minutes. A signal that you know what the job takes.
  • One price. Not a range. Not a per-hour figure the client will do their own math on. The number.
  • A way to say yes. On paper that is a signature line. As a link it is an Accept button, and you get told when it is tapped.

What is not on it

Your wage, your overhead, your margin, your break-even. The client never sees your costs. That is not secrecy, it is just not their question. If you want to see how the price on this example was built, it is in the pricing formula, and the calculator there will build yours.

Cleaning estimate template vs quote template

People search for a cleaning estimate template. What they usually want is this page: one sheet that tells the client what the job is and what it costs.

The difference is in what the client hears. A document called an estimate tells them the number might move. A quote tells them the number is the price for the scope written on it. Same layout, same fields, more certainty for the client and for you.

If the job changes, the scope line is what you point to. “Standard clean, 3 bed / 2 bath, every two weeks” is clear. “House cleaning” is not.

Fields to add if you use this as an estimate template:

  • Frequency. One time, weekly, every two weeks, monthly.
  • Included and not included. For example: inside the oven is not included in a standard clean.
  • Valid until. A date after which you will look at the price again.

Paper, or a link

Print this and hand it over, and it does its job. Send it as a link and it does two more: it looks like this on the client's phone with your logo on it, and it tells you when they open it and when they accept. Binderlane does the math above, then sends the quote as that link. The first three are free, no card.

Questions owners ask

What should a house cleaning quote include?
Your business name and phone, the client’s name, what the job is, how many cleaners and roughly how long, one price, and a clear way to say yes. Leave your costs and margin off it. The client needs the price, not the math.
Quote or estimate?
Say quote. An estimate invites the price to move. A quote is the price for the scope you described, and the scope is written on it.
Can I use this template for free?
Yes. Print it, or save it as a PDF from the print dialog, and write your own numbers in. Or send it as a link from your phone with your logo on it; the first three of those are free too.
How do I know the client saw it?
Paper cannot tell you. A quote sent as a link can: Binderlane shows you when it was opened and when the client tapped Accept.
Can I use this as a cleaning estimate template?
Yes. Use the same layout and add frequency, what is included and excluded, and a valid-until date. Call it a quote on the page itself so the client knows the price holds for that scope.
How long should a cleaning quote be valid?
That is your call. Many owners pick a fixed window, such as 30 days, so a price built on this month’s costs does not stay open forever. Put the date on the quote.
What if the job is bigger than the quote said?
Point to the scope line. If the home or the job is different from what was written, say so and send a new quote for the real scope before you start.
